Nintendo of America on July 2, 2007 announced the official release date for The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS; along with a quick note about Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The game has been delayed by a week! It is currently set for release on August 27, 2007.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, in development by Retro Studios is the third and final installment in Nintendo’s Prime series. It is the third installment of the Metroid Prime trilogy (not counting the two spin-offs) and the tenth game in the Metroid series. The title takes place shortly after the events of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, the next significant episode in the career of Samus Aran. The game takes franchise heroine Samus Aran on an all-new mission that spans multiple planets and once more involves Dark Samus. Corruption’s innovative new pixel-perfect control, made possible thanks to the Wii remote, may revolutionize the way first-person titles are played on Nintendo’s console.
