The Firefly/Serenity ‘Verse is now an award winning role-playing game. Based on Joss Whedon’s short lived series and great come-back motion picture, this promising RPG seems like a must for anyone who would like to put themselves in the place of a quirky pilot or a gun-toting hired muscle.

Not only did this RPG win Best Game of 2006 at Orgins, but it’s nominated for Best Production Value in Gen Con’s EN World Awards which will take place Aug 11, 2006. Whedon’s ‘verse is so rich with story, what true fan wouldn’t want to live on a ship in it? The game book is on sale now and the first source book “Out to The Black” is due to hit stores later this year. It looks like an interesting, fast paced RPG with a campaign setting both near and dear to many a Browncoats’ heart.
