I’ve got to admit that I’m a fan boy at heart. I cut my teeth on X-Men, Spiderman, The D.C. heroes and then went on to serious comics like Usagi Yojimbo and Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. I still love the Classics, and X-Men is just that. They have been around since the 60’s; if they were an automobile, you could get a “classic car tag” in Florida.

I did almost yell out “No!, that’s not what happened!” when Wolverine… oops, almost gave away the BIG secret plot thingy!  Usually I list all of the main characters, but I’m going to keep this short and sweet. Kelsey Grammer and his stunt double do a hell of a job as the Beast. Hugh Jackman does the wolverine shtick, or in this case SNICKT ( read the comic  books) really well. In case you were worried, he is going to do another movie soon.  Guess?  No, not “The Boy from Oz”. They are in pre-production for a Wolverine spin off.

This is my favorite movie of the summer so far. This makes the last two X-Men movies look like “The Importance of being Ernest” Oh, very important.  Stay untll the end. Watch the credits and see the little surprise at the end.
