Angel fans will be dissapointed to learn that the much-loved but cancelled show does not appear to be returning to television in any form.  In a rare convention appearance in London this weekend, Angel stars Amy Acker (Fred/Illyria) and J. August Richards (Charles Gunn) confirmed that the much-talked about spin-offs and possible sixth season are no longer in the works.  After the show was cancelled in 2004, fans clamored to try to resurrect the beloved Joss Whedon Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off about a vampire with a soul trying to find redemption in Los Angeles.  There were a lot of rumors about other networks possibly picking up Angel for a sixth season as well as speculation on spin-offs and TV movies featuring fan-favorite charachters such as Spike and Willow.  Unfortunately, all the fan efforts have proved to be fruitless as it appears that the final stake has been driven through Angel’s heart.
