Meet any true science fiction fan, no matter what specific fandom they belong to, and the one thing most have in common is they need a fix of that fandom every now and then. No, I didn’t say want. They need that fix.

Take me, for example. I will come out and admit I am a Whedonverse junkie. Yup, folks, I admitted my geekdom. **stands up** My name is JenCala and I love the Whedonverse. Now pass the damn rum, this isn’t AA!

Whether it’s Buffy slaying some vamps, or hell, shagging a couple, Angel with his nancy-boy hair gel brooding over his tortured past, or Jayne whining about why he couldn’t bring grenades on the last Firefly “mission”, I need my fix of the Whedonverse. I check websites for the latest info on my favorite (cancelled) shows, post on the official Firefly board daily (hey, it’s to discuss politics with Baldwin, ok?), or even watch an episode on one of my DVD’s. Episodes which I have seen many…okay, hundreds of times. Damn it, I’ll even admit to going to conventions! **takes a long swig of rum** I’ve gone across the country to meet some of the Whedonverse actors. **hangs head in shame** It’s a drug, people. Get it?
